Émile Toulouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Paul Gillon in the 12th minute of the match. Émile Toulouse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noël Forte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Kaiet in the 22nd minute of play forced Polaris ★ Star's goalkeeper Émile Toulouse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Jérémie Lhuillier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Esnault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that John-Paul Gillon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Émile Toulouse was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Émile Toulouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daryl Belleville in the 26th minute of the match. Faustin Clemenceau's late challenge caught a Clichy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustin Clemenceau helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clichy booed when Polaris ★ Star was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustin Clemenceau didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Clichy's John-Paul Gillon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Émile Toulouse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Edmond Esnault was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mehdi Le Comte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 36 minute of play. John-Paul Gillon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Émile Toulouse having to interfere. Émile Toulouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavier Dominici in the 42nd minute of play. Émile Toulouse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noël Forte in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daryl Belleville in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Émile Toulouse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Émile Toulouse came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Clichy's John-Paul Gillon. But to his dismay, John-Paul Gillon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jérémie Lhuillier to make the kick off. Clichy's Xavier Dominici got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Polaris ★ Star was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Redouane Cortès to maneuver through the defense. After 57 played minutes, Clichy's Daryl Belleville shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Émile Toulouse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Clichy reached it. In the 58th minute, John-Paul Gillon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Émile Toulouse was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Polaris ★ Star's Émile Toulouse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Polaris ★ Star from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute Jérémie Lhuillier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Esnault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Clichy's John-Paul Gillon slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Émile Toulouse. That made the score 1-5 after 67 minutes of play. In the 74th minute, Jérémie Lhuillier made a precise shot to the right of Edmond Esnault. Clichy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. Émile Toulouse was a little too slow when Toufik Suteau got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 2-7. Polaris ★ Star's Émile Toulouse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John-Paul Gillon in the 84th minute of play. Émile Toulouse came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Clichy's Noël Forte. But to his dismay, Noël Forte quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-8. Émile Toulouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John-Paul Gillon in the 94th minute of play. Clichy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
