Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geoffroy Cornil started the match with the kick off. Sammy Havard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulysse Sonnet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Silbestre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geoffroy Cornil in the 14th minute of the match. Jean-Charles Vaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Everardo Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Durotar Football Club's Herbert Goupy got a free kick in the 18th minute. Geoffroy Cornil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Everardo Silbestre having to make a save. 24 minutes into the match, Durotar Football Club's goalkeeper Everardo Silbestre had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Charles Vaux. Everardo Silbestre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffroy Cornil in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gruchy's Mathis Rollier got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Gruchy's zone, Herbert Goupy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Havard came out of the goal and Herbert Goupy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 30 minutes into the match, Ahmed Brousse notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Gruchy's Sammy Havard. Sammy Havard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jean-Charles Vaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulysse Sonnet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sammy Havard having to make a save. Jules Delas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Havard having to interfere. Karl Vaxelaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Durotar Football Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Geoffroy Cornil's late challenge caught a Durotar Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geoffroy Cornil helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Durotar Football Club booed when Gruchy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffroy Cornil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmed Brousse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Durotar Football Club's Everardo Silbestre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathis Rollier in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Durotar Football Club's Ulysse Sonnet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sammy Havard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Ahmed Brousse in the 65th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. A hard shot 70 in the game by Ahmed Brousse from a close distance when the talented Sammy Havard managed to make a qualified save. Gruchy's players were relieved. Jules Delas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Durotar Football Club's Ulysse Sonnet got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Gruchy's Sammy Havard got control of the ball when Ulysse Sonnet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ahmed Brousse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sammy Havard having to make a save. Ulysse Sonnet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ahmed Brousse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mathis Rollier kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a little luck, Gruchy's Sammy Havard got control of the ball when Ahmed Brousse tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathis Rollier during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Ahmed Brousse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Durotar Football Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gruchy throughout the match.
