Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geoffroy Cornil started the match with the kick off. After having played for 4 minutes, Jean-Charles Vaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gruchy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Charles Vaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Charles Vaux in the 6th minute of play forced Sigaloux's goalkeeper Martial Quilichini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Gruchy booed when Sigaloux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jérémy Ghesquière didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martial Quilichini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Charles Vaux in the 10th minute of the match. Sammy Havard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney Jouvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jérémy Ghesquière hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After 25 played minutes, Gruchy's Gildas Roudet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Martial Quilichini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gruchy reached it. Sidney Jouvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Jérémy Ghesquière reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sammy Havard. The goal made the score 1-1. Martial Quilichini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffroy Cornil, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Mathis Rollier took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martial Quilichini. Martial Quilichini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sigaloux's Martial Quilichini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geoffroy Cornil in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kilian Seigle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sigaloux's Sidney Jouvet got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Sigaloux's goalkeeper Martial Quilichini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Charles Vaux. Martial Quilichini made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Jean-Charles Vaux sent off a good shot on target. Jérémy Ghesquière received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sammy Havard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Martial Quilichini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffroy Cornil, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After 70 minutes of play, Sigaloux's Jérémy Ghesquière made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sammy Havard was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Sigaloux's Sidney Jouvet got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jean-Charles Vaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Martial Quilichini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gruchy's Jean-Charles Vaux got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sigaloux's Martial Quilichini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Sigaloux from getting a goal against them. Martial Quilichini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geoffroy Cornil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Geoffroy Cornil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gruchy's supporters rose to their feet, but Geoffroy Cornil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martial Quilichini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Mathis Rollier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gruchy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sigaloux the free kick. Mathis Rollier hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. A collision led to Gruchy getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Carl Ernoult hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Jouvet in the 97th minute of play forced Gruchy's goalkeeper Sammy Havard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
