Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Geoffroy Cornil got the match started through his kick off. Ryan Giry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Sammy Havard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Gruchy's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Giry came free, but Sammy Havard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gruchy's zone, Batiste Barbera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sammy Havard came out of the goal and Batiste Barbera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mourad Bonin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sammy Havard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Giry in the 13th minute of play forced Gruchy's goalkeeper Sammy Havard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mourad Bonin took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sammy Havard. Sammy Havard dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sammy Havard didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mourad Bonin went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Sammy Havard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Giry in the 24th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, RdU 1949 FC's Mourad Bonin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sammy Havard made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gruchy's Sammy Havard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryan Giry in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mourad Bonin in the 38th minute of play forced Gruchy's goalkeeper Sammy Havard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. RdU 1949 FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mourad Bonin to make the kick off. Batiste Barbera blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sammy Havard having to make a save. After some careless play in the Gruchy defense, Mourad Bonin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sammy Havard. The Gruchy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sammy Havard should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Gruchy booed when RdU 1949 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ryan Giry didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gruchy's Geoffroy Cornil in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RdU 1949 FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mourad Bonin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sammy Havard having to interfere. Sammy Havard made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mourad Bonin in the 71st minute. Mourad Bonin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Pucheu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in RdU 1949 FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! RdU 1949 FC:s Prosper Gillard showed great skill when he stopped Carl Ernoult:s penalty. When Gruchy's Jean-Charles Vaux in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RdU 1949 FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffroy Cornil in the 92nd minute of play forced RdU 1949 FC's goalkeeper Prosper Gillard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prosper Gillard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Charles Vaux in the 93rd minute of play. RdU 1949 FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
