Rouhling were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after mcity's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Brandon Adeline took the corner. The corner ended in Brandon Adeline almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but mcity's Fernand Pinon did a great save. In the 9th match minute, mcity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Farid Le Bars to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Ortega struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Fernand Pinon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rouhling. 19 minutes into the match, Alou Anglès had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernand Pinon. mcity's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alou Anglès was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Rouhling's Anthony Kaczmarek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimé Brouet in the 25th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Rouhling's Barthélémy Eyraud slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernand Pinon. That made the score 2-0 after 29 minutes of play. Paul-Henri Le Mat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the mcity defense, Barthélémy Eyraud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernand Pinon. The mcity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernand Pinon should have stopped the shot. After 46 minutes of play, Rouhling's Bruno Ortega made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernand Pinon was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Barthélémy Eyraud to make the kick off. mcity's Fernand Pinon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alou Anglès in the 54th minute of play. If Fabian Fricot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jimmy Mansuy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthony Kaczmarek having to interfere. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind mcity's goalkeeper Fernand Pinon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. mcity were furious when Georges Massot was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for mcity! In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Rouhling. Barthélémy Eyraud stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fernand Pinon. 6-0.
