The Santifiak FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thibault Gleize could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Bartosz Sierocki made a huge save. In the 9th minute, Bayern de Monique's Benjamin Baudrier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bartosz Sierocki. Bartosz Sierocki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 13 minutes, Benjamin Baudrier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bayern de Monique and the Santifiak FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 13th minute, Benjamin Baudrier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Santifiak FC's Gaston Le Rolland got a free kick in the 14th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Santifiak FC's goalkeeper Bartosz Sierocki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thibault Gleize. Bartosz Sierocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Baudrier in the 20th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Jean-Michel Casimir put in a rough tackle. In the 23rd minute, one of Santifiak FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santifiak FC. After a rather tough play, Santifiak FC's Régis Favereau got a free kick in the 28th minute. Bartosz Sierocki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacques Flavigny in the 30th minute of play. Djibril Le Bellec charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Djibril Le Bellec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the match, Bayern de Monique's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Curutchet came free, but Jim Coquel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jim Coquel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Curutchet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Curutchet in the 39th minute of play forced Bayern de Monique's goalkeeper Jim Coquel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santifiak FC's Flavian Lallemant got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 minutes of play Bayern de Monique's Benjamin Baudrier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Santifiak FC booed when Bayern de Monique was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Baudrier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Djibril Le Bellec to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Santifiak FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Roland Wennersten hit a great ball. Djibril Le Bellec took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartosz Sierocki. Bartosz Sierocki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Djibril Le Bellec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Bartosz Sierocki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Amaury Hueber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bayern de Monique's supporters rose to their feet, but Amaury Hueber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Sierocki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 69th minute Djibril Le Bellec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Sierocki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Santifiak FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jacques Flavigny came free, but Bartosz Sierocki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Teddy Curutchet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bartosz Sierocki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thibault Gleize in the 80th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bayern de Monique defense, Teddy Curutchet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Coquel. The Bayern de Monique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Coquel should have stopped the shot. When Teddy Curutchet came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Santifiak FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Curutchet couldn't finish the play. Bayern de Monique were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
