Spectators: 6835 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1835, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gavril Bălașa started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, FC Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John-David Sylla to maneuver through the defense. Berzet's Barthelemy Damien got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 8 minutes into the game, Omer Fere was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berzet's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Porto the free kick. In the 8th match minute, Berzet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omer Fere to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute, Josselin Bettinger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jerome Fichot, 14 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barthelemy Damien got free with Faustin Wauquier in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, FC Porto's goal looked a bit too open when Flavien Simier came free, but Faustin Wauquier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armand Douville fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Stoltz having to interfere. Philibert Ringard hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Armand Douville scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ferdinand Stoltz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd match minute, FC Porto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melvin Binet to maneuver through the defense. FC Porto's Faustin Wauquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omer Fere in the 35th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Gavril Bălașa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavril Bălașa was in a good position and ended up with the ball after FC Porto's free kick, but he didn't get a good hit on the ball and blazed it high and to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Armand Douville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Stoltz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavien Simier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Philibert Ringard fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berzet's protests and gave Philibert Ringard a yellow card for diving instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Melvin Binet put in a rough tackle. After 60 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Porto! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gavril Bălașa got free with Ferdinand Stoltz in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavien Simier scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Faustin Wauquier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavien Simier took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Faustin Wauquier. Faustin Wauquier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Berzet's Ferdinand Stoltz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Berzet from getting a goal against them. Faustin Wauquier came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Berzet's Marius Cancel. But to his dismay, Marius Cancel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. FC Porto's Faustin Wauquier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavien Simier in the 97th minute of play.
