Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antony Gimbert kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd match minute, US Montélimar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Dufrene to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the match, Maxime Marzin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dylan Grasset. Herlies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxime Marzin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Robert Ferrière got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, US Montélimar's goalkeeper Daryl Jonquet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by César Cugnet. Herbert Hurel hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After 22 played minutes Herlies got a freekick which was hit by Mike Rochet. Johan Dufrene didn't quite understand what happened when in the 24 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. In the 25th minute, Jordan Toupin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, Antony Gimbert reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daryl Jonquet. The goal made the score 1-1. If Noé Derville had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Herlies's zone, Robert Ferrière stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Grasset came out of the goal and Robert Ferrière tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Ferrière's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dylan Grasset read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Herlies's Dylan Grasset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Ferrière in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Herlies's Jordan Toupin got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Herlies's Dylan Grasset played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Ferrière in the 54th minute of play. Noé Derville struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Dylan Grasset didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for US Montélimar. 59 minutes into the game, Noé Derville recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dylan Grasset. Noé Derville showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Mike Rochet hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, US Montélimar's Robert Ferrière dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Jordan Toupin charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jordan Toupin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jordan Toupin hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The supporters of Herlies booed when US Montélimar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johan Dufrene didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, César Cugnet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Daryl Jonquet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Herlies's goalkeeper Dylan Grasset, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Robert Ferrière received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Dylan Grasset tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
