Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Miré's Pierre-Antoine Guilbot started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Grossereix's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Lannuzel came free, but Josselin Biteau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Boudeau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Fleury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavien Bouchereau hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Ferdinand Lannuzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Josselin Biteau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Boudeau made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Flavien Bouchereau sent off a good shot on target. Grossereix's Josselin Biteau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre-Antoine Guilbot in the 24th minute of play. Jean-François Decherf was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. In the 40th minute, Grossereix's Mounir Bérenger dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Mounir Bérenger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Miré's Rayanne Dhont got a free kick in the 47th minute. If Mounir Bérenger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
Grossereix's Josselin Biteau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Grossereix from getting a goal against them. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grossereix! With a little luck, Grossereix's Josselin Biteau got control of the ball when Ferdinand Lannuzel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Flavien Bouchereau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Boudeau having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Grossereix's goalkeeper Josselin Biteau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Lannuzel. Despite being the better team, Grossereix failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
