Dorian Gergaud came out of the goal and César Cugnet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Herlies booed when F.C. Challans was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilan Allio didn't get a good kick on the ball. F.C. Challans's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
