After 9 minutes, Ferdinand Rousselot made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kergoal's Jocelyn Vahirua tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benoît Garbe's late challenge caught a Kergoal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benoît Garbe helped the player get up and apologised. 35 minutes into the game, Fèves's Baptiste Ehrhart nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jocelyn Vahirua made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 45th minute, Mohamed-Ali Harang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 46th minute of the match Ronan Dard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jocelyn Vahirua skillfully saved the ball. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benoît Garbe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Fèves booed when Kergoal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Raye didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kergoal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Ferdinand Rousselot scored to the left of an out of position Jocelyn Vahirua, making the score, 0-5. Fèves played a much better game than Kergoal and deserved their victory. The Kergoal players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
