Michal Svatek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinedine Gilibert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the match, Castelmaurou's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Jouenne came free, but Nathanaël Barbot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thierry Berry kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. A collision led to RC Aiacciu Corsica getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. David Lesecq hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Castelmaurou's zone, Grégoire Pause stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The supporters of RC Aiacciu Corsica booed when Castelmaurou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. RC Aiacciu Corsica's Michal Svatek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save RC Aiacciu Corsica from getting a goal against them. After 53 minutes, Edgard Dubroca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RC Aiacciu Corsica and the Castelmaurou players grew even worse after the yellow card. RC Aiacciu Corsica walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
