Kergoal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Grégoire Pause ran over to the corner to take the kick. Grégoire Pause made a great header on RC Aiacciu Corsica's corner, it was just that Kergoal's Jocelyn Vahirua managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th minute, Arthur Jouenne reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jocelyn Vahirua. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 20th minute, RC Aiacciu Corsica's Arthur Jouenne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jocelyn Vahirua. Jocelyn Vahirua yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 24th minute, Edgard Dubroca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Yoann Jeannet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jocelyn Vahirua made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sacha Bruchet in the 33rd minute. Kergoal's Yoann Jeannet got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur Jouenne kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 41 played minutes, Kergoal's Charles-Emmanuel Perret shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Michal Svatek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kergoal reached it. Jocelyn Vahirua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Jouenne in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 52nd minute Arthur Jouenne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jocelyn Vahirua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sacha Bruchet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christopher Mansuy fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kergoal's protests and gave Christopher Mansuy a yellow card for diving instead. Jocelyn Vahirua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jocelyn Vahirua came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by RC Aiacciu Corsica's Grégoire Pause. But to his dismay, Grégoire Pause quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. A collision led to Kergoal getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Yoann Jeannet hit a great ball. Kergoal's Jocelyn Vahirua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grégoire Pause in the 83rd minute of play. Jocelyn Vahirua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Dubroca in the 88th minute of play. Jocelyn Vahirua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Jouenne in the 89th minute of the match. Jocelyn Vahirua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Jouenne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nathan Gaudre's late challenge caught a RC Aiacciu Corsica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nathan Gaudre helped the player get up and apologised. Nathan Gaudre kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, RC Aiacciu Corsica's Arthur Jouenne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jocelyn Vahirua narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 95th minute, Arthur Jouenne made a precise shot to the right of Jocelyn Vahirua. Kergoal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
