Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Laurent Baptiste made the kick off and thus started the match. If Dominique Boinet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Castelmaurou's goal looked a bit too open when Laurent Baptiste came free, but Nathanaël Barbot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurent Baptiste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Nathanaël Barbot made a huge save. Thierry Berry's late challenge caught a Lombardie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thierry Berry helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Castelmaurou's Thierry Berry got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Laurent Baptiste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Dominique Boinet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lombardie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castelmaurou the free kick. After 23 played minutes Lombardie got a freekick which was hit by Dominique Boinet. Mourad Grégoire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinedine Gilibert in the 25th minute of the match. Dominique Boinet struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Nathanaël Barbot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lombardie. In the 36th minute, Laurent Baptiste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dominique Boinet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Florent Iglesias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th match minute, Lombardie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Billion to maneuver through the defense. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zinedine Gilibert made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Zinedine Gilibert took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Mourad Grégoire to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of Lombardie booed when Castelmaurou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Telesforo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurent Baptiste in the 59th minute of play forced Castelmaurou's goalkeeper Nathanaël Barbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mourad Grégoire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62 minutes, Jean-Baptiste Gaze mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castelmaurou and the Lombardie players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dominique Boinet blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nathanaël Barbot having to make a save. Nathanaël Barbot came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Lombardie's Octave Carrion. But to his dismay, Octave Carrion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Laurent Baptiste struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Nathanaël Barbot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lombardie. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Lucas Havet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lombardie's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Havet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nathanaël Barbot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octave Carrion might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathanaël Barbot. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Octave Carrion ran back to his position shaking his head. Mourad Grégoire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. In the 87th minute Zinedine Gilibert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mourad Grégoire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Laurent Baptiste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lombardie were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
