A collision led to Ménétrol getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Reynald Grassin hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Ménétrol's goal looked a bit too open when Auguste Macaigne came free, but Rafael Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Journet in the 13th minute of play forced Lambres's goalkeeper Steven Grenard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Lambres's Sofiane Fleurant got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jocelyn Gilet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute Sofiane Fleurant shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Manilan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sofiane Fleurant in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafael Manilan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Steven Grenard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lemuel Epperson in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Sofiane Fleurant notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ménétrol's Rafael Manilan. Rafael Manilan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Steven Grenard made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albert Journet in the 36th minute of play. With a little luck, Ménétrol's Rafael Manilan got control of the ball when Didier Bachellerie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Brian Pontoizeau received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Manilan came out and tried to block the shot, but Brian Pontoizeau slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 43rd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some careless play in the Ménétrol defense, Auguste Macaigne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Manilan. The Ménétrol fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Manilan should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Lambres's Davy Chatry got a free kick in the 64th minute. Rafael Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Auguste Macaigne in the 69th minute of play. Steven Grenard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Jimenez in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Albert Journet recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Steven Grenard. Albert Journet showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-1. Didier Bachellerie hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Steven Grenard made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when André Jimenez sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Jimenez in the 80th minute of play forced Lambres's goalkeeper Steven Grenard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Jimenez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Steven Grenard made a huge save. Rafael Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sofiane Fleurant, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Jocelyn Gilet came free with the goalkeeper in the 86th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Steven Grenard could save by the left post. In the 90th minute, Jocelyn Gilet made a precise shot to the right of Steven Grenard. Lambres's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2.
