Ménétrol's Rafael Manilan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Dole in the 4th minute of play. Rafael Manilan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moussa Queffelec went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pierre Dole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pierre Dole scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rafael Manilan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Madjid Pauly fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Manilan having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Ménétrol's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Dole came free, but Rafael Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amaury Duteil in the 21st minute of play. John Costes took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Manilan. Rafael Manilan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moussa Queffelec in the 29th minute of play forced Ménétrol's goalkeeper Rafael Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ménétrol's Éloi Reymann got a free kick in the 29th minute. John Costes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 30th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rafael Manilan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John Costes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes of play, La Scaloneta's Madjid Pauly made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafael Manilan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Madjid Pauly in the 42nd minute of play forced Ménétrol's goalkeeper Rafael Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Pierre Dole recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rafael Manilan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Madjid Pauly showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 52 minute of play. In the 66thth minute of the game John Costes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ménétrol's Rafael Manilan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rafael Manilan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Darren Teisseire in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pierre Dole got free with Rafael Manilan in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rafael Manilan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John Costes, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Costes in the 82nd minute of play forced Ménétrol's goalkeeper Rafael Manilan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Ménétrol's goal looked a bit too open when John Costes came free, but Rafael Manilan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rafael Manilan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John Costes in the 92nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Ménétrol's Rafael Manilan got control of the ball when Pierre Dole tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 95 played minutes Ménétrol got a freekick which was hit by André Jimenez.
