With a little luck, Orcines's Mathis Villeger got control of the ball when Salomon Buffet tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when Orcines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonin Martens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faudel Langlois was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With an all-out effort, FC Saubrigues's Mathis Villeger threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Faudel Langlois, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the FC Saubrigues defense, Jackson Rion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Éluard Coulomb. The FC Saubrigues fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Éluard Coulomb should have stopped the shot. Mathis Villeger was out of position in the 9 minute of play, and Matthieu Macquet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Matthieu Macquet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Adrien Cariou kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Thomas Verot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Fernand Guilloton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orcines's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernand Guilloton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éluard Coulomb breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Jackson Rion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Éluard Coulomb. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jackson Rion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Éluard Coulomb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Verot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salomon Buffet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jackson Rion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éluard Coulomb having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Jackson Rion put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Éluard Coulomb. Francis Mokhtari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Éluard Coulomb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fernand Guilloton might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Éluard Coulomb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernand Guilloton ran back to his position shaking his head. The Orcines fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Orcines's Jackson Rion looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernand Guilloton took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Éluard Coulomb. Éluard Coulomb dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. In the 44th minute, Jackson Rion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Orcines fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. After the first half Orcines were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jackson Rion was the one to do the kick off. Éluard Coulomb was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomas Verot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-8 in the 55 minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Jackson Rion lined in a short shot 1-9 behind a frustrated Éluard Coulomb. In the 62nd minute, Francis Mokhtari reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Éluard Coulomb. The goal made the score 1-10. Éluard Coulomb didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 67th minute, which inside left pole to 1-11. In the 70th match minute, FC Saubrigues was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matthieu Macquet to maneuver through the defense. Francis Mokhtari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éluard Coulomb having to interfere. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Éluard Coulomb, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 86 minutes, Jackson Rion made it 1-12 with a short kick to the right side. FC Saubrigues's Éluard Coulomb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Thomas Verot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orcines played a much better game than FC Saubrigues and deserved their victory. The FC Saubrigues players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
