Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 168) Marignane's Stanislas Landy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modeste Métenier in the 3rd minute of play forced Marignane's goalkeeper John-David Bordet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Nicolas Rami sped through Marignane's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of John-David Bordet. Martial Celton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislas Landy in the 6th minute of the match. John-David Bordet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Rami, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. John-David Bordet came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by GENY's Jérémie Baudry. But to his dismay, Jérémie Baudry quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Marignane getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marc-Antoine Thebault hit a great ball. John-David Bordet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John-David Bordet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modeste Métenier, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Marignane's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Massy came free, but John-David Bordet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Nicolas Rami cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. John-David Bordet was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Simão Sampaio kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armand Réa during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With his leg Martial Celton managed to avoid a goal in the 37thth minute, when Marignane's Ulryk Ludwa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 39 minutes into the match, Marignane's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Rami came free, but John-David Bordet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. John-David Bordet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Rami, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GENY's Martial Celton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Sampaio in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, GENY's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislas Landy came free, but Martial Celton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martial Celton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lüder Herbert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Stanislas Landy kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martial Celton. That made the score 1-3 in the 45 minute of play.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Rami stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. John-David Bordet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Rami in the 56th minute of the match. A collision led to Marignane getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Marc-Antoine Thebault hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute GENY were awarded a corner. Rémi Sarrazin went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on GENY's corner Rémi Sarrazin fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and John-David Bordet quite easily take care of the ball. Stanislas Landy charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stanislas Landy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Marignane's Stanislas Landy got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The supporters of GENY booed when Marignane was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulryk Ludwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 minutes of play, Marignane's Stanislas Landy made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martial Celton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martial Celton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulryk Ludwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Martial Celton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislas Landy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. John-David Bordet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Rami in the 79th minute of play. If Ulryk Ludwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GENY's Martial Celton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislas Landy in the 85th minute of play. Stanislas Landy struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Martial Celton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marignane. After 91 minutes of play, Marignane's Stanislas Landy made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martial Celton was left in no man's land by his defense there! 94 minutes into the match, GENY's goal looked a bit too open when Stanislas Landy came free, but Martial Celton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Marignane were victorious despite being under pressure from GENY for much of the match.
