Seating: 1949, VIP seats: 169) Stanislas Durin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Rémi Sarrazin kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Bertrand Gaye showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armand Réa in the 5th minute of the match. Joaquim Massy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Bertrand Gaye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jérémie Baudry in the 10th minute of play forced KingGod's goalkeeper Bertrand Gaye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicolas Rami sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. KingGod's Bertrand Gaye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Rami in the 20th minute of play. When Prosper Giresse fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KingGod's protests and gave Prosper Giresse a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st match minute, KingGod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prosper Giresse to maneuver through the defense. Bertrand Gaye stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicolas Rami's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Bertrand Gaye made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Modeste Métenier in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Rami in the 25th minute of play forced KingGod's goalkeeper Bertrand Gaye to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Nicolas Rami shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Gaye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, KingGod's Gaétan Fourreau got a free kick in the 33rd minute. GENY's Modeste Métenier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Flavien Demay, made in the 34th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Rami in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertrand Gaye prevented the ball from getting in the gole. KingGod's Bertrand Gaye played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modeste Métenier in the 38th minute of play. Danny Bernardon might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martial Celton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Danny Bernardon ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Stanislas Durin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martial Celton. That made the score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. Charly Veuillet hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Rami to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Nicolas Rami managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GENY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicolas Rami was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Lamine Fischer fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KingGod's protests and gave Lamine Fischer a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to KingGod getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Lamine Fischer hit a great ball. With a little luck, KingGod's Bertrand Gaye got control of the ball when Nicolas Rami tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bertrand Gaye was a little too slow when Armand Réa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 1-1. Modeste Métenier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Bertrand Gaye made a huge save. Martial Celton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prosper Giresse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicolas Rami kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bertrand Gaye. That made the score 1-2 in the 67 minute of play. In the 70th minute, Nicolas Rami left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GENY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 75th match minute, KingGod was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavien Demay to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Joaquim Massy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bertrand Gaye saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim Massy showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. When the match was over GENY could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KingGod throughout the match.
