The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Santana got free with Hamid Lamothe in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Zajac took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamid Lamothe. Hamid Lamothe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 26 minutes into the match, Ruben Zajac dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamid Lamothe, 3-0. Hamid Lamothe made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Primitivo Gonzo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, FC Foix's Donovan Chauvière got a free kick in the 32nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Santana got free with Hamid Lamothe in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 played minutes FC Foix got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Varnier. 44 minutes into the match, FC Foix's goalkeeper Hamid Lamothe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Santana. 45 minutes into the game, Ruben Zajac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamid Lamothe. Ruben Zajac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Santana to make the kick off. Hamid Lamothe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Santana in the 51st minute of the match. FC Foix's Hamid Lamothe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Junior Rieffel in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute Ernesto Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hamid Lamothe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
