Flex's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pélicans FC the free kick. In the 4th minute, Dave Frin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thibaut Coquerelle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislas Bagot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Flex's zone, Stanislas Bagot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thibaut Coquerelle came out of the goal and Stanislas Bagot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Pélicans FC fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Pélicans FC's Marc-Aurèle Nortier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute Stanislas Bagot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Coquerelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Anatole Le Lay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pélicans FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When Anatole Le Lay came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pélicans FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anatole Le Lay couldn't finish the play. In the 32nd minute Stanislas Bagot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Coquerelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Pélicans FC's Marc-Aurèle Nortier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thibaut Coquerelle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 43rd minute, Stanislas Bagot made a precise shot to the right of Thibaut Coquerelle. Flex's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. The Flex players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pélicans FC were winning 0-5.

The wind increased when Jordy Pichavant made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Flex's goalkeeper Thibaut Coquerelle, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jim Bannatyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Estrade in the 54th minute of play. Anatole Le Lay scored 0-6 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thibaut Coquerelle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Pélicans FC booed when Flex was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Titouan Estrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave Frin in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute Titouan Estrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Bannatyne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jim Bannatyne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jordy Pichavant in the 68th minute of the match. Thibaut Coquerelle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marc-Aurèle Nortier, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Thibaut Coquerelle was a little too slow when Marc-Aurèle Nortier got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-7. Dave Frin hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Stanislas Bagots short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Thibaut Coquerelle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Anatole Le Lay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thibaut Coquerelle having to make a save. In the 91st minute Anatole Le Lay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Coquerelle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 92 played minutes Flex got a freekick which was hit by Adil Bernard. Thibaut Coquerelle made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Stanislas Bagot sent off a good shot on target. The Flex fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pélicans FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
