Cantenay's Constantin Cochon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Cantenay from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Cantenay's zone, Joaquim Gibert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Cochon came out of the goal and Joaquim Gibert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xavier Halter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27thth minute of the game Patrice Sénéchal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cantenay's Constantin Cochon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guillaume Barillot charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillaume Barillot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Guillaume Barillot hit a great ball. Saint Côme de Fresné's Édouard Guet quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mathis Kempf, made in the 34th minute of the game. Simon Mertz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 38th playminute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Joaquim Gibert sped through Cantenay's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Constantin Cochon. After a defensive mix-up in Cantenay's zone, Simon Mertz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Cochon came out of the goal and Simon Mertz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Mathis Kempf threw the ball into play from the sideline. Saint Côme de Fresné's Édouard Guet quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patrice Sénéchal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patrice Sénéchal took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Cochon. Constantin Cochon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. The supporters of Cantenay booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noël Clenet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noël Péret made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Alfred Aurousseau sent off a good shot on target. When Patrice Sénéchal came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Saint Côme de Fresné fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrice Sénéchal couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Gibert in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantin Cochon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Cantenay's goal looked a bit too open when Patrice Sénéchal came free, but Constantin Cochon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Patrice Sénéchal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Cochon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 79th match minute, Cantenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eymeric Baly to maneuver through the defense. Cantenay's Constantin Cochon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrice Sénéchal in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Cantenay booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillaume Barillot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Constantin Cochon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Gibert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Émilien Sable charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Émilien Sable the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cantenay's Émilien Sable got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Patrice Sénéchal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Constantin Cochon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Gibert took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Constantin Cochon. Constantin Cochon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Saint Côme de Fresné fully deserved thier win.
