In the 4th minute, Djamel Pesenti reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claude Marcot. The goal made the score 1-0. Djamel Pesenti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claude Marcot came out and tried to block the shot, but Djamel Pesenti slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. Claude Marcot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Djamel Pesenti in the 11th minute. The supporters of Lampertheim booed when Joga Bonitou FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Émilien Kerneis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Didier Lully came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Lampertheim's Timothé Hauchard. But to his dismay, Timothé Hauchard quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Jean-Michel Houot kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Joga Bonitou FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timothé Hauchard came free, but Didier Lully reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothé Hauchard in the 27th minute of play forced Joga Bonitou FC's goalkeeper Didier Lully to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Joga Bonitou FC's Djamel Pesenti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claude Marcot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Claude Marcot made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Basile Salvat sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthieu Joffre in the 35th minute of play forced Lampertheim's goalkeeper Claude Marcot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Claude Marcot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 58 minutes into the match, Lampertheim's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre Fargier came free, but Claude Marcot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Joga Bonitou FC's Matthieu Joffre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. A throw-in in the 71st minute of the game was made by Renan Le Grand with Timothé Hauchard as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Victor Marmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 77 minutes, Victor Marmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lampertheim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Marmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kamel Basque hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Djamel Pesenti shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claude Marcot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lampertheim's Claude Marcot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djamel Pesenti in the 82nd minute of play. Émilien Kerneis kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Timothé Hauchard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Didier Lully. Joga Bonitou FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
