The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc-Aurèle Nortier during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pélicans FC's Marc-Aurèle Nortier got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Marc-Aurèle Nortier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Souza having to interfere. Djibril Soto in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jim Bannatyne, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jim Bannatyne made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Gwidon Pawlak sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute, Anatole Le Lay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Djibril Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th match minute, Pélicans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léopold Billet to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gwidon Pawlak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Bannatyne was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. When Hamid Schmitt fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pélicans FC's protests and gave Hamid Schmitt a yellow card for diving instead. Hamid Schmitt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Stanislas Bagot's late challenge caught a Team FCTS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stanislas Bagot helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pélicans FC's Stanislas Bagot got a free kick in the 26th minute. During the 30th minute of the match Marc-Aurèle Nortier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marc-Aurèle Nortier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Pélicans FC's Marc-Aurèle Nortier got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 32nd match minute, Pélicans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léopold Billet to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd match minute, Team FCTS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Lovin to maneuver through the defense. Jim Bannatyne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Pawlak in the 37th minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Gwidon Pawlak notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne. Jim Bannatyne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stanislas Bagot was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Pélicans FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillaume Seret to maneuver through the defense. Stanislas Bagot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislas Bagot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but André Luiz Souza made a huge save. 高凌然 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jim Bannatyne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Pélicans FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feng Yu Ting came free, but Jim Bannatyne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Pawlak in the 69th minute of play. Team FCTS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ange Hatton in the 71st minute. A nice corner shot did that Ange Hatton got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jim Bannatyne quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Pawlak in the 72nd minute of play forced Pélicans FC's goalkeeper Jim Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Gwidon Pawlak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Bannatyne. Pélicans FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gwidon Pawlak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Gwidon Pawlak took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Bannatyne. Jim Bannatyne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Pélicans FC's Jim Bannatyne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Djibril Soto in the 79th minute of play. Gwidon Pawlak took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Bannatyne. Jim Bannatyne dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Gwidon Pawlak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Pawlak in the 88th minute of play forced Pélicans FC's goalkeeper Jim Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Team FCTS's Gwidon Pawlak in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pélicans FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Pawlak in the 90th minute of play forced Pélicans FC's goalkeeper Jim Bannatyne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Team FCTS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
