Léopold Billet received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Claude Marcot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claude Marcot came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Pélicans FC's Stanislas Bagot. But to his dismay, Stanislas Bagot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. With a little luck, Lampertheim's Claude Marcot got control of the ball when Stanislas Bagot tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 36th minute of the game was made by Dimitri Artaud with Arnaud Carbon as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jim Bannatyne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothé Hauchard, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Claude Marcot stood somewhat misplaced when Guillaume Seret came free in front of goal and shot 8-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timothé Hauchard in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Bannatyne saved Pélicans FC from getting behind. In the 59th minute Marc-Aurèle Nortier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claude Marcot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claude Marcot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stanislas Bagot went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score.
