Spectators: 8392 (Terracing: 6296, Seating: 1930, VIP seats: 166) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Patrice Sénéchal started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Olivier Barnier in the 6th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lampertheim's Renan Le Grand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timothé Hauchard in the 9th minute of play forced Saint Côme de Fresné's goalkeeper Noël Péret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute Timothé Hauchard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noël Péret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jérémy Le Boucher hit a great ball. Noël Péret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timothé Hauchard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Noël Péret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timothé Hauchard in the 18th minute of play. Joaquim Gibert had several of the Lampertheim's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 27 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Claude Marcot as he didn't even see the shot coming. Noël Péret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Marmin in the 39th minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Lampertheim got a freekick which was hit by Renan Le Grand. Patrice Sénéchal was extremely unlucky when he, in the 45th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timothé Hauchard to strike the kick off in the second half. Claude Marcot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Gibert in the 53rd minute of play. If Patrice Sénéchal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal, in the 64th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Saint Côme de Fresné. Lampertheim's Claude Marcot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrice Sénéchal in the 68th minute of play. Édouard Guet kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Lampertheim's Timothé Hauchard in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Timothé Hauchard's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Noël Péret firmly grabbed it by the left post. Noël Péret made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timothé Hauchard in the 86th minute. In the 87th match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noël Clenet to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Timothé Hauchard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noël Péret. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 94th minute Victor Marmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noël Péret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Lampertheim's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Gibert came free, but Claude Marcot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
