Spectators: 5018 (Terracing: 4015, Seating: 1002, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Djamel Pesenti kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Pesenti in the 3rd minute of play forced Bordeaux's goalkeeper Oxel Viñales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 4 minutes, Djamel Pesenti made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bordeaux's Oxel Viñales tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joga Bonitou FC's Didier Lully played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cédric Micheneau in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Ahmid Balthazard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bordeaux's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Joga Bonitou FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bordeaux's Ahmid Balthazard got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Pierre Fargier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Bordeaux booed when Joga Bonitou FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry Bonet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Joga Bonitou FC's Djamel Pesenti ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Oxel Viñales. Oxel Viñales yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Djamel Pesentis short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Oxel Viñales to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when Aimé Bescond put in a rough tackle. After 30 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bordeaux! Djamel Pesenti walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Djamel Pesenti in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oxel Viñales prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Bordeaux's Oxel Viñales got control of the ball when Djamel Pesenti tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Joga Bonitou FC booed when Bordeaux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cédric Micheneau didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jean-Pierre Hulin was the one to do the kick off. Didier Lully showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pierre Hulin in the 51st minute of the match. After 55 played minutes Bordeaux got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Pascal Macaire. Oxel Viñales came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Joga Bonitou FC's Pierre Fargier. But to his dismay, Pierre Fargier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Didier Lully showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean-Pascal Macaire in the 59th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, one of Bordeaux:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Pierre Fargier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthieu Joffre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oxel Viñales having to interfere. When Joga Bonitou FC's Djamel Pesenti in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bordeaux's goalie prevented a goal. Oxel Viñales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Djamel Pesenti's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Djamel Pesenti in the 73rd minute of play forced Bordeaux's goalkeeper Oxel Viñales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Joga Bonitou FC's goalkeeper Didier Lully had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Pierre Hulin. Marvin Horel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Didier Lully read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Jean-Pierre Hulin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Didier Lully was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 84th match minute, Bordeaux was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cédric Micheneau to maneuver through the defense. Cédric Micheneau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Didier Lully tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jean-Michel Houot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 96th minute Jean-Michel Houot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oxel Viñales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oxel Viñales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Djamel Pesenti's shot from short distance in the 98th minute.
