After a rather tough play, Team FCTS's Éthan Llorca got a free kick in the 20th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Jack Kauffmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Elsa Esnoult's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team FCTS the free kick. Angelo Melito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djibril Soto, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Despite this Angelo Melito quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Team FCTS booed when Elsa Esnoult was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jack Kauffmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Elsa Esnoult defense, Gwidon Pawlak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Melito. The Elsa Esnoult fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Melito should have stopped the shot. If Junior Arrive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elsa Esnoult's Angelo Melito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Pawlak in the 94th minute of play. When Dimitri Lasalle fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elsa Esnoult's protests and gave Dimitri Lasalle a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Elsa Esnoult got a freekick which was hit by Dimitri Lasalle.
