The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xavier Halter hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Constantin Colon made in the 4th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Football Wizards 59's Gökçen Harmancı. Mathis Kempf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Sarron in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Cantenay's goal looked a bit too open when Gökçen Harmancı came free, but Mathis Kempf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cantenay's goalkeeper Mathis Kempf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, Cantenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zinedine Ciret to maneuver through the defense. After 13 minutes of play, Football Wizards 59's Ognyan Klyashev made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mathis Kempf was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gilbert Paciuszko hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Gökçen Harmancı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Clemente Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Football Wizards 59's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Moussier came free, but Spyros Chatzakos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josselin Astier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Spyros Chatzakos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathis Kempf was a little too slow when Franklin Sarron got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Mathis Kempf was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Ognyan Klyashev capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ognyan Klyashev really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. 38 minutes into the match, Gökçen Harmancı had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathis Kempf. Cantenay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gökçen Harmancı was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Joey Moussier managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cantenay's supporters rose to their feet, but Joey Moussier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Spyros Chatzakos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute Franklin Sarron suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 46 minutes into the game, Malcom Parayre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cantenay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Football Wizards 59 the free kick. Football Wizards 59's Justin Chambard was substituted for Franklin Sarron. In the 48th match minute, Cantenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcom Parayre to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Josselin Astier to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Chambard in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathis Kempf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gökçen Harmancı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Justin Chambard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mathis Kempf was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Justin Chambard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mathis Kempf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cantenay's Mathis Kempf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ognyan Klyashev in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ognyan Klyashev in the 70th minute of play forced Cantenay's goalkeeper Mathis Kempf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 73 played minutes Football Wizards 59 got a freekick which was hit by Aziz Fourny. Justin Chambard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justin Chambard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Mathis Kempf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Justin Chambard struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Mathis Kempf didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Football Wizards 59. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Clemente Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Football Wizards 59's supporters rose to their feet, but Clemente Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathis Kempf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justin Chambard in the 93rd minute of play forced Cantenay's goalkeeper Mathis Kempf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 95 played minutes Cantenay got a freekick which was hit by Malcom Parayre. Football Wizards 59's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
