Sofyane Ayme kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Rouret's goal looked a bit too open when Gameiro Dubarry came free, but Diego Thomazeau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Thierry Marconnet notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Rouret's Diego Thomazeau. Diego Thomazeau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the game, Coutes's Rodolphe Mange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Thomazeau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thierry Marconnet scored 0-5 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Thomazeau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gameiro Dubarry in the 29th minute of play forced Rouret's goalkeeper Diego Thomazeau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Thomazeau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Dugarry, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chris Le Gallou came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Omar Laffont could save by the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Le Gallou during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chris Le Gallou kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Roman Pouyet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Omar Laffont made a huge save. After the first half Coutes were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Roman Pouyet made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Chris Le Gallou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Laffont was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. In the 59th minute of the match Coutes got a corner. Rouret's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mehdi Arzur ran over to the corner to take the kick. Omar Laffont didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roman Pouyet went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Rouret defense, William Dugarry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Thomazeau. The Rouret fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Thomazeau should have stopped the shot. Sofyane Ayme hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Thierry Marconnet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Thomazeau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Thomazeau was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Thierry Marconnet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thierry Marconnet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. Omar Laffont stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Pouyet's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. If Roman Pouyet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thierry Marconnet in the 84th minute of play forced Rouret's goalkeeper Diego Thomazeau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Rouret's goalkeeper Diego Thomazeau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by William Dugarry. Diego Thomazeau made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mehdi Arzur sent off a good shot on target. 93 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rouret's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mehdi Arzur was slow to take the kick. During this time Coutes's players had a chance to rest. Pascal Marcos made a great header on Coutes's corner, it was just that Rouret's Diego Thomazeau managed to reach the ball for a save. After 95 played minutes Rouret got a freekick which was hit by Sofyane Ayme. Diego Thomazeau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehdi Arzur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes into the game, Malcom Khelifi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rouret's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coutes the free kick. The supporters of Coutes booed when Rouret was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malcom Khelifi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolphe Mange got free with Diego Thomazeau in the 98th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Rouret fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Coutes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
