Spectators: 8490 (Terracing: 6368, Seating: 1953, VIP seats: 169) Étoile du Sud's Mario Ba started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Étoile du Sud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Ba to maneuver through the defense. Élie Le Roux took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Ba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mario Ba got free with Élie Le Roux in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th match minute, GAS MONKEY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Gaudillère to maneuver through the defense. Élie Le Roux made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Mario Ba sent off a good shot on target. A hard, long distance shot from Ludomir Tipinski flew over the goal. Humberto Grabiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raoul Bienaimé, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 25th minute, Mario Ba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Élie Le Roux was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. When GAS MONKEY's Ilan Velasco in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Ba couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Roland Bordes in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Étoile du Sud's Johan Kjellbom. In the 42nd minute, Mario Ba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mario Ba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Étoile du Sud's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Ba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Élie Le Roux breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

60 minutes into the match, Mario Ba notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of GAS MONKEY's Élie Le Roux. Élie Le Roux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Étoile du Sud made a substitution. Jacques Pousse replaced Thierry Henri. Daryl Cottineau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ryan Gaudillère hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Daryl Cottineau came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Étoile du Sud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daryl Cottineau couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, GAS MONKEY's goal looked a bit too open when Daryl Cottineau came free, but Élie Le Roux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Roland Bordes fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GAS MONKEY's protests and gave Roland Bordes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Roland Bordes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute Mario Ba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Élie Le Roux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daryl Cottineau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Jacques Pousse cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Élie Le Roux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
