Corentin Fily recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Chano kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 13thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Étoile du Sud's keeper Humberto Grabiel was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Touar were awarded a corner in the 14th minute after Étoile du Sud's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Étienne Grandpierre took the corner. Carlos Saada's late challenge caught a Étoile du Sud's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
