The crowd rose to their feet as Domingo Urki kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anthony Vaissière. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After a rather tough play, kirikou fc's Marian Tipinski got a free kick in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Stade Ygossais's Éluard Marcellin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tubagus Kepa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Mohamed Lebaillif made a precise shot to the right of Anthony Vaissière. Stade Ygossais's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 22nd minute Diego Loche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tubagus Kepa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Igor Kovalev left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The kirikou fc fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Domingo Urki was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 35th minute. kirikou fc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Anthony Vaissière was a little too slow when Esteban Ubarna got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 4-0. A well placed Igor Kovalev short distance shot in the 46th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugène Guiguet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Cyril Desmaison hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mohamed Lebaillif managed to get in a good position for a shot. kirikou fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohamed Lebaillif was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anthony Vaissière breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Domingo Urki took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anthony Vaissière. Anthony Vaissière dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Diego Loche got free with Tubagus Kepa in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anthony Vaissière came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by kirikou fc's Igor Kovalev. But to his dismay, Igor Kovalev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Anthony Vaissière stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohamed Lebaillif's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. With an all-out effort, Stade Ygossais's Tubagus Kepa threw himself towards the right post 78 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Eugène Guiguet, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 88 minutes into the match, Igor Kovalev had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anthony Vaissière. Stade Ygossais's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Kovalev was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. After 94 played minutes kirikou fc got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Ubarna. After a rather tough play, Stade Ygossais's Jean-Sébastien Bruel got a free kick in the 96th minute. Anthony Vaissière showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Kovalev in the 97th minute of the match. In the 99th minute kirikou fc were awarded a corner. Esteban Ubarna went to the cornerflag to take it. There was no doubt that kirikou fc were the better team. kirikou fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
