Gonzalo Higuaíns short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Codrin Boaru to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ludres's Codrin Boaru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Hernström in the 19th minute of play. Gonzalo Higuaín succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 22nd playminute. Hugon Barciniak hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Gonzalo Higuaín got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jan Nordström hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Codrin Boaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Hernström, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After 42 played minutes Ludres got a freekick which was hit by Olivier Defaye. After having played for 45 minutes, Allan Hernström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bellaing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Hernström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gonzalo Higuaín to strike the kick off in the second half. Allan Hernström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Boaru having to interfere. Gonzalo Higuaín took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codrin Boaru. Codrin Boaru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Musa Tanalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Boaru having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ludres's zone, Allan Hernström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Boaru came out of the goal and Allan Hernström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 60 minutes, Gonzalo Higuaín managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Codrin Boaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Higuaín in the 70th minute of play. Codrin Boaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Higuaín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 played minutes Ludres got a freekick which was hit by Olivier Defaye. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Hernström in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Boaru saved Ludres from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gonzalo Higuaín in the 77th minute of play forced Ludres's goalkeeper Codrin Boaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Codrin Boaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Higuaín in the 78th minute of play. Tom Landy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugon Barciniak in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Gonzalo Higuaín shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codrin Boaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
