In the 7th minute Allan Hernström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tubagus Kepa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Bellaing booed when kirikou fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Elvis Costello from long distance, 8 minutes into the match, got Tubagus Kepa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 30 minutes, Mohamed Lebaillif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the kirikou fc and the Bellaing players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Mohamed Lebaillif hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tubagus Kepa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gonzalo Higuaín in the 33rd minute. Gonzalo Higuaín came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tubagus Kepa could save by the left post. Tubagus Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Hernström in the 37th minute of play. Lech Szkarpiak charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Tony Chopin hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. With a little luck, kirikou fc's Tubagus Kepa got control of the ball when Gonzalo Higuaín tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The audience was convinced that Allan Hernström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tubagus Kepa was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. In the 69th minute Bellaing were awarded a corner. Elvis Costello went to the cornerflag to take it. Bellaing's Tom Landy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Bellaing from getting a goal against them. Tubagus Kepa came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Bellaing's Musa Tanalp. But to his dismay, Musa Tanalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bellaing had played much better football throughout.
