The audience was convinced that Victor Champenois's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Codrin Boaru was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Philippe Sévestre in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 43 played minutes Ludres got a freekick which was hit by Ovidiu Dinescu. Hubert Heim charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hubert Heim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hubert Heim kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugon Barciniak was the one to do the kick off. After 50 minutes, Melvin Viallard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos and the Ludres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 50th match minute, Santos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melvin Viallard to maneuver through the defense. Radoslaw Przewozik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Mathys Turban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Codrin Boaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Heim in the 77th minute of the match. When Jan Nordström fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ludres's protests and gave Jan Nordström a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santos booed when Ludres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan Nordström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codrin Boaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe Sévestre in the 80th minute of play. Codrin Boaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe Sévestre, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
