With his leg Tom Landy managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when gipsy kings's Fabrice Gamet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 11 minutes into the game, Allan Hernström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Jean-Pascal Weiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 16 minutes of play, Bellaing's Musa Tanalp made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jean-Pascal Weiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 19th minute, Musa Tanalp made a precise shot to the right of Jean-Pascal Weiss. gipsy kings's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musa Tanalp in the 25th minute of play forced gipsy kings's goalkeeper Jean-Pascal Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Musa Tanalp in the 36th minute of the match. gipsy kings's Jean-Pascal Weiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Hernström in the 37th minute of play. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Higuaín, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Jean-Pascal Weiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Allan Hernström in the 42nd minute of the match. Gonzalo Higuaín took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jean-Pascal Weiss. Jean-Pascal Weiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fabrice Gamet was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, gipsy kings's Luc Cassagne got a free kick in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Hernström in the 59th minute of play forced gipsy kings's goalkeeper Jean-Pascal Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Allan Hernström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. gipsy kings's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Görkem Akbulut scored to the left of an out of position Jean-Pascal Weiss, making the score, 0-10. An unexpectedly hard shot by Musa Tanalp in the 85th minute of play forced gipsy kings's goalkeeper Jean-Pascal Weiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Allan Hernström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Jean-Pascal Weiss was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jean-Pascal Weiss came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Bellaing's Gonzalo Higuaín. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Higuaín quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. When the match was over Bellaing could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than gipsy kings throughout the match.
