Raymond Maillot dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pierre-Olivier Couronne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boris Delaune in the 5th minute of play. Planète Marseille's Pierre-Olivier Couronne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Planète Marseille from getting a goal against them. Raymond Maillot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rayanne Le Bastard in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Planète Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Hercule Caire came free, but Pierre-Olivier Couronne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laurent Gonin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Planète Marseille! 30 minutes into the game, Chris Daurès was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ammerschwihr's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Planète Marseille the free kick. Chris Daurès hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Rayanne Le Bastard scored 1-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raymond Maillot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Antoine Milcent had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raymond Maillot. Ammerschwihr's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antoine Milcent was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. A collision led to Ammerschwihr getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Chris Daurès hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Rayanne Le Bastard made the kick off in the second half. Hercule Caire struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Pierre-Olivier Couronne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ammerschwihr. Pierre-Olivier Couronne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Just Bouley in the 54th minute of play. Rayanne Le Bastard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raymond Maillot having to make a save. Hercule Caire might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pierre-Olivier Couronne. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hercule Caire ran back to his position shaking his head. Pierre-Olivier Couronne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hercule Caire in the 59th minute of play. After some careless play in the Planète Marseille defense, Hercule Caire kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre-Olivier Couronne. The Planète Marseille fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre-Olivier Couronne should have stopped the shot. Ammerschwihr's Raymond Maillot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayanne Le Bastard in the 62nd minute of play. Antoine Milcent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Raymond Maillot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Just Bouley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Couronne having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Planète Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Just Bouley came free, but Pierre-Olivier Couronne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Raymond Maillot successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ammerschwihr's Hercule Caire got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raymond Maillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayanne Le Bastard, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Pierre-Olivier Couronne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Just Bouley in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Ammerschwihr got a corner. Planète Marseille's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hercule Caire ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ammerschwihr's Hercule Caire was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pierre-Olivier Couronne in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Just Bouley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Robert Hess notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Planète Marseille's Pierre-Olivier Couronne. Pierre-Olivier Couronne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bertrand Jolly charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bertrand Jolly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bertrand Jolly hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ammerschwihr's Hercule Caire tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Planète Marseille's goal looked a bit too open when Just Bouley came free, but Pierre-Olivier Couronne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Planète Marseille players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
