In the 4th minute Davy Giacomoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Olivier Couronne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Planète Marseille's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gaspard Letourneux was slow to take the kick. During this time Formation Pure Lyonnaise's players had a chance to rest. In the 11th minute, Mohamed-Ali Duparc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Formation Pure Lyonnaise's goal looked a bit too open when Victorien Seurin came free, but Nelson Cloarec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Planète Marseille's Antoine Milcent. But to his dismay, Antoine Milcent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rémi Lys hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nelson Cloarec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorien Seurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 24 played minutes Formation Pure Lyonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Cyril Chevron. Nelson Cloarec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rayanne Le Bastard in the 25th minute of play. Antoine Milcent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Cloarec having to interfere. Nelson Cloarec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorien Seurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Formation Pure Lyonnaise getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Gaspard Letourneux hit a great ball. Nelson Cloarec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorien Seurin in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Antoine Milcent left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Planète Marseille fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 45th minute, Victorien Seurin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Planète Marseille's Rayanne Le Bastard got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorien Seurin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Antoine Milcent put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Nelson Cloarec. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Antoine Milcent took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Nelson Cloarec to make any attempt to save it. Émeric Bigard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's Nelson Cloarec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rayanne Le Bastard in the 67th minute of play. Nelson Cloarec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Milcent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Léonard Laumond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Planète Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Antoine Milcent. In the 74th minute, Victorien Seurin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nelson Cloarec was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Davy Giacomoni sped through Planète Marseille's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pierre-Olivier Couronne. Rayanne Le Bastard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nelson Cloarec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorien Seurin got free with Nelson Cloarec in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nelson Cloarec was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rayanne Le Bastard showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 86 minute of play. Victorien Seurin struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Nelson Cloarec didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Planète Marseille. After a defensive mix-up in Formation Pure Lyonnaise's zone, Victorien Seurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelson Cloarec came out of the goal and Victorien Seurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Planète Marseille's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
