Codrin Pivniceru kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Jörgen Back showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hercule Caire in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th match minute, Lezennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Thomas to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th match minute, Ammerschwihr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Hess to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the match, Mustapha Lecœur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lezennes's Jörgen Back. Jörgen Back was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jörgen Back stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Just Bouley's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute of the match Ammerschwihr got a corner. Lezennes's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hercule Caire ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Lezennes's goalie and right to Mustapha Lecœur. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Lezennes's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Jörgen Back took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Just Bouley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Just Bouley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Back saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jörgen Back stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hercule Caire's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. The supporters of Ammerschwihr booed when Lezennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mike Abraham didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Boris Delaune managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ammerschwihr's supporters rose to their feet, but Boris Delaune was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Back breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Hess in the 36th minute of play forced Lezennes's goalkeeper Jörgen Back to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Back showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Just Bouley, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Just Bouley made a precise shot to the right of Jörgen Back. Lezennes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 43rd minute, Hercule Caire left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ammerschwihr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Olaf Zaworski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Zaworski in the 60th minute of play forced Ammerschwihr's goalkeeper Raymond Maillot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jörgen Back didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hercule Caire went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Just Bouley in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jörgen Back saved Lezennes from getting behind. Mike Abraham charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike Abraham the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lezennes's Mike Abraham got a free kick in the 69th minute. Raymond Maillot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olaf Zaworski, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Jörgen Back made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Just Bouley sent off a good shot on target. Hercule Caire scored 0-5 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörgen Back, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lezennes's Jörgen Back proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Lezennes from getting a goal against them. If Olaf Zaworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Back was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Hercule Caire capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hercule Caire really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. Just Bouley succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 87th playminute. Robert Hess could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Jörgen Back made a huge save. The Lezennes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ammerschwihr's performance. The match ended with a win for Ammerschwihr.
