With a couple of smart ball manuevers Just Bouley in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Chassang saved Stade de Reims from getting behind. Aziz Sénéchal charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aziz Sénéchal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Stade de Reims's Aziz Sénéchal got a free kick in the 25th minute. Stade de Reims's Roman Chassang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hercule Caire in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute Just Bouley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Chassang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Boris Delaune left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ammerschwihr fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Just Bouley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Chassang having to interfere. The supporters of Ammerschwihr booed when Stade de Reims was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aziz Sénéchal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Chassang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boris Delaune's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hercule Caire in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Chassang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Boris Delaune's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Chassang was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Hercule Caire might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Chassang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hercule Caire ran back to his position shaking his head. If Boris Delaune had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Mustapha Lecœur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samy Dartiguelongue to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Hercule Caire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Just Bouley sped through Stade de Reims's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Chassang. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Just Bouley got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ammerschwihr's Hercule Caire was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 67th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Roman Chassang came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ammerschwihr's Boris Delaune. But to his dismay, Boris Delaune quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. 77 minutes into the game, Hercule Caire lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Roman Chassang. Robert Hess in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Roman Chassang, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Roman Chassang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robert Hess in the 83rd minute. Boris Delaune struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Roman Chassang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ammerschwihr. 85 minutes into the game, Just Bouley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Chassang. Just Bouley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. If Robert Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Robert Hess could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Roman Chassang made a huge save. Robert Hess fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Chassang having to interfere. The Stade de Reims fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ammerschwihr were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
