Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hercule Caire got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Ammerschwihr's Boris Delaune nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugues Ginoux made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hugues Ginoux came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ammerschwihr's Robert Hess. But to his dismay, Robert Hess quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Hercule Caire notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Plappeville's Hugues Ginoux. Hugues Ginoux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Robert Hess came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Ammerschwihr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Hess couldn't finish the play. When Ammerschwihr's Just Bouley in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Plappeville's goalie prevented a goal. 19 minutes into the match, Plappeville's goal looked a bit too open when Just Bouley came free, but Hugues Ginoux reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute, Florent Dupeyron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugues Ginoux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hercule Caire in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Just Bouley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Hugues Ginoux was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hugues Ginoux showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Hess, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Ammerschwihr's Just Bouley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugues Ginoux made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Just Bouley took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugues Ginoux. Hugues Ginoux dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Hugues Ginoux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hercule Caire in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Boris Delaune had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hugues Ginoux. Plappeville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Delaune was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. Plappeville's Hugues Ginoux played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Delaune in the 44th minute of play. After 44 played minutes Plappeville got a freekick which was hit by Gwendal Rabaud. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Johan Gèle during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Plappeville players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ammerschwihr were winning 0-8.
The wind increased when John-Paul Trinquier made the kick off in the second half. Hugues Ginoux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hercule Caire in the 51st minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Just Bouley could shoot a difficult shot in the 55th minute, which Hugues Ginoux however easily saved by the left post. With an all-out effort, Ammerschwihr's Hugues Ginoux threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hercule Caire, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 58 minutes into the match, Plappeville's goalkeeper Hugues Ginoux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Just Bouley. Plappeville's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Hercule Caire scored to the left of an out of position Hugues Ginoux, making the score, 0-9. Hugues Ginoux made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hercule Caire in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Hercule Caire dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hugues Ginoux, 0-10. In the 73rd minute John-Paul Trinquier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Maillot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Plappeville's zone, Boris Delaune stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugues Ginoux came out of the goal and Boris Delaune tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Plappeville's goalkeeper Hugues Ginoux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Just Bouley. Hugues Ginoux was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mustapha Lecœur showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-12 in the 83 minute of play. Hugues Ginoux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hercule Caire in the 86th minute of the match. If Hercule Caire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Hess received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hugues Ginoux came out and tried to block the shot, but Robert Hess slotted it home off the left post making it 0-14 in the 92nd minute. In the 96th minute, Ammerschwihr's Hercule Caire ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hugues Ginoux. Hugues Ginoux yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-15. When the match was over Ammerschwihr could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Plappeville throughout the match.
