To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. meyzieu fc's Aiolos Lalagos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jochen Sommerhalder in the 40th minute of play. Aiolos Lalagos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. When the final whistle sounded massïlia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than meyzieu fc.
