A collision led to massïlia getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Murillo Kepa hit a great ball. AC Cristal's Jean-Marc Taillefer came free and shot a quick shot against goal 82 minutes in the game, fortunately Pavel Chivu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Greg Lequesne succeeded in the game's 91st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. The massïlia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. AC Cristal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
