Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mario Gautherot started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Haulchin got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Charlot. Romuald Barth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Merlin Jacquemart having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mamadou Delobelle during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Haulchin's Mamadou Delobelle got a free kick in the 9th minute. Merlin Jacquemart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romuald Barth went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Cysoing defense, Mario Gautherot kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evan Choplin. The Cysoing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evan Choplin should have stopped the shot. After 18 minutes of play, Haulchin's Mario Gautherot made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evan Choplin was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Haulchin getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Victorien Broutin hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Cysoing's Arnaud Gougeon got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mario Gautherot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Evan Choplin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victorien Broutin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bernard Garric struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Merlin Jacquemart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cysoing. In the 40th minute, Cysoing's Romuald Barth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Merlin Jacquemart. Merlin Jacquemart yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Gautherot in the 44th minute of play forced Cysoing's goalkeeper Evan Choplin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evan Choplin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierre-Henri Boniface, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Merlin Jacquemart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romuald Barth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romuald Barth to make the kick off. In the 56th minute Romuald Barth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Jacquemart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyrille Bories kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Mario Gautherot took a quick shot and it went in 2-3 without a chance for Evan Choplin to make any attempt to save it. 64 minutes into the match, Romuald Barth notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Haulchin's Merlin Jacquemart. Merlin Jacquemart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Merlin Jacquemart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romuald Barth's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After 70 played minutes Haulchin got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Charlot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romuald Barth in the 70th minute of play forced Haulchin's goalkeeper Merlin Jacquemart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Henri Boniface came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evan Choplin could save by the left post. Evan Choplin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Gautherot in the 76th minute of the match. Evan Choplin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Gautherot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Bernard Garric ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Merlin Jacquemart was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. Erwan Fage kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. If Pierre-Henri Boniface had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Mario Gautherot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evan Choplin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernard Garric took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Merlin Jacquemart. Merlin Jacquemart dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. In the 92nd minute Romuald Barth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Merlin Jacquemart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Pierre-Henri Boniface recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Evan Choplin. Pierre-Henri Boniface showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-4. For all the effort they put into the match, the Haulchin players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cysoing.
