Paris Batignolles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Louis Zettor in the 80th minute. A nice corner shot did that Louis Zettor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Pavel Chivu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. massïlia's Pavel Chivu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quentin Flambard in the 82nd minute of play. 87 minutes into the game, massïlia's Louison Le Boucher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bacary Jules made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. In the 90th minute Louison Le Boucher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bacary Jules saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jochen Sommerhalder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bacary Jules having to interfere. Louison Le Boucher might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bacary Jules. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louison Le Boucher ran back to his position shaking his head. When Teddy Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Paris Batignolles fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Galindo couldn't finish the play. The massïlia support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
