Fernand Guillaume made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Marc Taillefer in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, AC Cristal's Greg Lequesne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fernand Guillaume. Fernand Guillaume yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Greg Lequesne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Cristal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jean-Marc Taillefer scored 3-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernand Guillaume, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Jean-François Lajus cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fernand Guillaume was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernand Guillaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Lequesne, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Geoffrey Plaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 35th minute, Junior Garrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Villejust's goalkeeper Fernand Guillaume had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Marc Taillefer. Fernand Guillaume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean-François Lajus, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Fernand Guillaume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg Lequesne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the game, Jean-Marc Taillefer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernand Guillaume. Jean-Marc Taillefer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-0. Jean-Marc Taillefer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Fernand Guillaume made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Greg Lequesne made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Villejust defense, Geoffrey Plaud kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernand Guillaume. The Villejust fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernand Guillaume should have stopped the shot. After 59 minutes of play, AC Cristal's Jean-François Lajus made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernand Guillaume was left in no man's land by his defense there! 62 minutes into the match, Jean-Marc Taillefer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernand Guillaume. Villejust's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Marc Taillefer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. Fernand Guillaume came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Cristal's Jean-Marc Taillefer. But to his dismay, Jean-Marc Taillefer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. In the 69th minute, Greg Lequesne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jimmy Baert's late challenge caught a AC Cristal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimmy Baert helped the player get up and apologised. Jimmy Baert hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Jean-Marc Taillefer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 13-0. After a rather tough play, Villejust's Jimmy Baert got a free kick in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Villejust defense, Jean-François Lajus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernand Guillaume. The Villejust fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernand Guillaume should have stopped the shot. After 82 minutes of play, AC Cristal's Greg Lequesne made it 15-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fernand Guillaume was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Marc Taillefer in the 87th minute of play forced Villejust's goalkeeper Fernand Guillaume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Greg Lequesne notched a goal, 16-0, to the right of Villejust's Fernand Guillaume. Fernand Guillaume was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fernand Guillaume came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Cristal's Greg Lequesne. But to his dismay, Greg Lequesne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0. AC Cristal's Geoffrey Plaud got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
