Teddy Galindo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Aiolos Lalagos made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantin Magnet during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aiolos Lalagos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Guigue in the 28th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bob Santin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bacary Jules was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. A collision led to Paris Batignolles getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jack Guérard hit a great ball. Manuel Plisson struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Aiolos Lalagos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paris Batignolles. 46 minutes into the match, Paris Batignolles's goal looked a bit too open when Tristan Oudet came free, but Bacary Jules reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Tristan Oudet made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Yoann Loupias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bacary Jules was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 56th minute, Bob Santin made a precise shot to the right of Bacary Jules. Paris Batignolles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to meyzieu fc getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Bakary Jury hit a great ball. Bacary Jules took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Oudet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tristan Oudet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bacary Jules made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bob Santin in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Paris Batignolles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Guérard to maneuver through the defense. Bob Santin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bacary Jules tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, meyzieu fc's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Galindo came free, but Aiolos Lalagos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tristan Oudet in the 79th minute of play forced Paris Batignolles's goalkeeper Bacary Jules to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quentin Flambard kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Constantin Magnet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Bacary Jules was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aiolos Lalagos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Plisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 97th minute, Paris Batignolles's Pierre-Louis Aupetit seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Pierre-Louis Aupetit the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Paris Batignolles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Pierre-Louis Aupetit had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 97 minutes into the game, one of Paris Batignolles:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 100 minutes, meyzieu fc's Ghislain Briquet got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bacary Jules. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched meyzieu fc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
