Spectators: 8333 (Terracing: 6340, Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 50) massïlia's Jochen Sommerhalder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Modeste Lalande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jochen Sommerhalder in the 4th minute of play. Jochen Sommerhalder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Modeste Lalande having to make a save. Los Feroces's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jochen Sommerhalder 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Modeste Lalande was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Jochen Sommerhalder capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jochen Sommerhalder really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. If Jochen Sommerhalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in massïlia's zone, Marc-Aurèle Moine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Chivu came out of the goal and Marc-Aurèle Moine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislas Capello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavel Chivu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc-Aurèle Moine in the 27th minute of play forced massïlia's goalkeeper Pavel Chivu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to massïlia getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Jochen Sommerhalder hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, massïlia's Patrice Ozouf got a free kick in the 37th minute. A collision led to Los Feroces getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Stanislas Capello hit a great ball. Louison Le Boucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jochen Sommerhalder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marc-Aurèle Moine to make the kick off. Jochen Sommerhalder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Chivu made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Stanislas Capello sent off a good shot on target. In the 61st minute, Jochen Sommerhalder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modeste Lalande was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jochen Sommerhalder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Modeste Lalande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Jochen Sommerhalder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Modeste Lalande was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. A collision led to Los Feroces getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Enzo Auzanneau hit a great ball. Louison Le Boucher scored 5-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Modeste Lalande, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Louison Le Boucher notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Los Feroces's Modeste Lalande. Modeste Lalande was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 80th minute, Louison Le Boucher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Sylvain Jamot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louison Le Boucher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilles Picot hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the massïlia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
