Brendan Tête started the match with the kick off. Brendan Tête sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the match, Sorges's goalkeeper Adrien Boche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brendan Tête. Yvan Grun hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Clem Riss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If João Assunção had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Donatien Daix got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorges's goalkeeper Adrien Boche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Augustin Guez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Igor Papon missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 30 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Maël Brulin right hand side. Sorges's Adrien Boche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendan Tête in the 34th minute of play. Adrien Boche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brendan Tête's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Baptiste Geffard's late challenge caught a Olympique de Batjax's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baptiste Geffard helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Sorges's Baptiste Geffard got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 44 played minutes Sorges got a freekick which was hit by Yvan Grun.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christophe Gire was the one to do the kick off. Maël Brulin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Élie Gamet in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Pierre Kerhoas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christophe Gire could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Maël Brulin made a huge save. After 65th play minutes Clem Riss shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Maël Brulin and just under the crossbar into goal. Pierre Kerhoas's late challenge caught a Sorges's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre Kerhoas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Olympique de Batjax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Kerhoas to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Olympique de Batjax's zone, Élie Gamet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maël Brulin came out of the goal and Élie Gamet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Olympique de Batjax getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Donatien Daix hit a great ball. The supporters of Sorges booed when Olympique de Batjax was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donatien Daix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrien Boche came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique de Batjax's José Sergent. But to his dismay, José Sergent quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Élie Gamet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Maël Brulin made a huge save. Maël Brulin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clem Riss in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sorges had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
